CHICAGO AP - Three former state tax auditors have been indicted on charges of taking $25,500 in payoffs in exchange for referring clients to an attorney, federal prosecutors said.The attorney, Dean Roupas, 36, of suburban Burbank also was charged in the indictment with making the payments to the three former tax auditors who allegedly recommended his services to people whose taxes they audited.
